Parent Groups

The Marian Fathers Club is the only one of the organizations that directly raises funds for the school. This club achieves its purpose through its operation of the bingo program. Bingo is held each Thursday evening at 7:00 PM and twice a year (October and April) the club operates an all-night bingo.  All net proceeds from the bingo program are used soley for capital improvements to the school’s facilities.

The Marian Parents Association meets monthly to plan its activities. The organization provides support for Back to School Night, school dances, open house, senior breakfast, etc. This organization also plans and assists with the post prom, an activity that provides a safe night for prom goers each spring.

The Athletic Department also provides many opportunities for parent involvement. The Athletic Director and coaches look for volunteer help to execute contests including ticket sellers and takers, time keepers, scorers, announcers, etc.

Funds to support the Parents Association and the Fine Arts Boosters are provided from the school’s annual fund appeal and dinner auction. Parents who involve themselves in these organizations are expected to support the annual fund and dinner acution through the many volunteer opportunities, contributions, etc. as identified by the Development Office.
